  • Reasoning: Abstract, Verbal, Spatial
  • Executive Functions: Attention, Working Memory, Flexible Thinking
  • Memory: Verbal, Visual
  • Speed: Processing, Visual Motor

Who can take a MindPrint assessment?

MindPrint is designed for English-speaking students ages 8 to 21 who meet the following criteria:

  • Read English at or above 2nd grade level.
  • Can follow simple, multi-step instructions independently.
  • Have the vision required to read a computer screen independently.

Who administers a MindPrint assessment?

MindPrint is self-administered, and any adult can proctor the assessment. Instructions are provided in written and audio format. The adult's role is to support the student in setting up a laptop or desktop computer and ensure the student is not interrupted or distracted during testing.

How does MindPrint compare to neuropsychological testing?

Neuropsychological tests are clinical diagnostic tests administered by a medical professional and are typically used to diagnose neurodivergence. MindPrint assessments are not medical tests. MindPrint assessments provide insights into how students learn and offer impactful strategies to support their learning needs and foster the best learning for their unique learner profile. These learning-specific insights and actionable strategies make MindPrint assessments valuable for all students, even those who have already completed diagnostic testing with a medical professional.

When should a MindPrint assessment be completed?

It is recommended that students complete a MindPrint assessment during the time between enrollment and the tutor match. This engages the student and family in the tutoring process as they wait for their tutor match and ensures that the student's learner profile is available for their tutor to review before the first session.

If a student does not meet the age or ability requirements for the MindPrint assessment at the time of enrollment, they can take it as soon as they meet the requirements.
